One of the best training sessions I have attended. Chris created a relaxed environment that ensured everyone engaged right from the start. The activities were insightful, building knowledge of the legal framework and policy and increasing confidence and skills in carrying out practical searches. Chris is highly skilled at explaining complex content in simple language and using relevant and fascinating stories to emphasise key points. Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the day which was filled with lots of learning, much laughter and some great team building.

Sat in on a fantastic session delivered by Chris Reavley from Bee Safe Training to our second year Uniformed Protective Services students.

The session covered the decision making process used by protective services in high risk situations, which the students applied to various situations, and underpinning legislation.  Followed by practical use of handcuffs as well as control and restraint techniques. The perfect introduction for when I deliver Custodial Care in the new year.

In the last week of term it was the most enthusiastic and engaged I’ve seen the students in a number of weeks and a great way to sign off for 2023.

Myself and my colleagues took part in an Emergency First Aid at Work course, run by Bee Safe Training. The course was run by Chris, who was so informative, he made each subject very easy to understand. We also had practical training with first aid mannequins. We were able to talk through all aspects of emergency first aid and hear others experiences, which also put things into perspective. The course wasn’t rushed, which gave us all enough time to grasp each first aid treatment. I would highly recommend Chris and Bee Safe Training First Aid courses for any company. It’s always comforting, and essential, to know that there is someone in the office who could help and make a positive difference in an emergency

I really enjoyed a Physical Intervention course what was lead by lecturer Chris. He teaches the course in easy to understand language, fun and lively. At the same time making sure that everyone has understood what was told and shown during the training.

I definitely learned a lot of comprehensive information that is necessary for my professional activity, and of course I feel much more confident after learning about various security-related techniques. Thanks again to Chris and his team!

CPR training was fun, very formative & the best training we have had so far.  Would definitely recommend Chris and will definitely be using Bee Safe Training again!

After speaking with learners, they found it helpful and exciting. They specifically enjoyed the handcuffing and how you engaged them in real-life scenarios. It was perfect to see how you pushed/stretched the learners; it was clear you had a lot of industry experience and reflected that in your delivery to the learners. The training we received from Chris at Bee Safe Training was excellent. His classroom session with our Criminology and Uniformed Services/Policing students in the morning was engaging and interesting. He used great examples to help students understand the various pieces of legislation. The practical session in the afternoon was great too. Students said they really felt as though they were working within the criminal justice industry when they had chance to practice using the handcuffs and conflict management techniques in order to deal with their “members of the public” in their scenarios. We look forward to welcoming Chris and Bee Safe Training back to the College each year now as part of our Conflict Management module for our students.

Chris from Bee safe training delivered an excellent experience for our Level 2 and Level 3 Uniformed Service learners at Tyne Met college. The learners received insightful knowledge, skills and behaviours regarding dealing and managing conflict. Chris was an outstanding instructor that was professional and engaged with all learners, which ultimately had an enjoyable experience. I will be looking to involve Bee safe training in the curriculum and wider college experiences

The medical emergency training within our dental practice was delivered by Chris in a way that was easy to understand and to take in the information given.  It was fun, informative and well led.  We will definitely use Bee-Safe again for our medical emergency training and have already booked our first aid course with them.

Chris was excellent when he came to deliver an introduction for our Uniformed Public Services students. He was engaging and very knowledgeable on his subject field with all the students getting involved and enjoying the session. I look forward to working with Chris in the future to bring his excellent expertise to our college

Chris was an absolute pleasure to have in college.  The students were initially quiet but soon came alive as Chris put them though their paces.  Great to see how this group of students grew in confidence over the session and how much they enjoyed it.  They asked if we could include this in their regular timetable which means a huge success all round.  Chris was able to take control of the group, came prepared and took charge of the group, there really wasn’t much left for me to do. So happy that we have re booked him for several future events

Actual Training in the Surgery was very useful and a first for me, Excellent presentation, very clear & precise and helpful

The session was very well structured which began with a background to the decision-making process that officers have to make on a regular basis. You involved the students by providing scenarios and good questioning techniques. The practical element of the course was excellent which looked at defensive and de-escalation tactics and then control and restraint techniques including hand cuffing. The students thoroughly enjoyed the session, they commented on how friendly and approachable your style of delivery was and they were fully engaged throughout the whole of the programme. The content linked really well with the unit that the students are currently studying namely ‘custodial care’.  Overall, an excellent session and we would love to have you back again during the next academic year

Chris was a very engaging instructor who kept the content interesting throughout the day. He was knowledgeable and friendly in his approach and I came away feeling confident in the skills we had learnt

For the Year 12s that was the first enrichment experience they have had this year and loved it.

The presentation was engaging with real examples used and thinking points allowing students to discuss ideas and answers with each other.

For the Year 13s the fact that you changed your whole presentation and approach was great to accommodate for them already having a session last year. The tasks using teams of 4 was engaging and the demonstrations before supported students. 

The students were absolutely raving about the experience It was such a good opportunity for them.

I really enjoyed the pace of the presentation – it was really engaging. The real-life scenario before and involving the students into this was useful and really got them thinking.

The activities afterwards were also excellent – really engaging and beneficial. The experience depicted real life and that is what they enjoyed.

Chris has delivered Physical Intervention training for the past 6 months at SECO. Our company offer bespoke packages of care for vulnerable people and Chris has never failed to provide a 5-star service every time he has delivered. Chris is a very organised trainer who is very thorough when it comes to research to enhance his training. He always takes the time to understand the needs of the people we support to ensure he adapts the course content to suit.

Chris’ natural delivery and calm approach encourages group interaction and participation throughout the training days. Our support workers speak highly of the training offered and always leave the 2 days feeling confident and prepared to start their new roles. Chris’ knowledge is outstanding and as a new trainer myself it has been amazing to work alongside him to enhance my own learning and develop my skills. As a result of the training that Chris has delivered, we have seen a huge decrease in incidents within our services due to the de-escalation techniques he teaches. He is making amazing, positive changes to the lives of children and young people we support.  As a company and professional team, we cannot recommend his bespoke training packages enough. We have been that impressed with Chris that we have booked him in for the duration of the year and are excited to continue to work with him.

The training received by Bee Safe Training was above and beyond all expectations.
The instructors were well organised and oozed experience. They were able to communicate effectively and engaged with everyone on the course (some 40+ learners).

The team are encouraging and create an environment where all feel able and willing to participate, seeing some of the most introvert of students coming out for their shells and growing in confidence.
The session was delivered in a safe and controlled manner and learners were able to develop and progress their knowledge and skills incrementally.

The theory session was made relevant for the audience and delivered with humour which then flowed into the practical session.
